We are hiring a **Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Specialist**, **to work in Jaguariúna/SP or Manaus/AM, responsible for operating and maintaining BESS, including commissioning, preventive maintenance, and technical support, ensuring safe and efficient solutions.** **Why Aggreko?** Here are some of the benefits and awards. * Medical plan (co-payment – 20% for consultations and exams) and dental plan (fully covered), extendable to dependents * Caju meal voucher * Private pension plan with company contribution (optional) * Life insurance * Employee assistance program offering psychological, nutritional, legal, and financial support (at no cost) * Wellhub * Annual bonus plan based on achievement of company goals * Safety-focused culture **What you’ll do:** * Test and maintain software related to control, monitoring, and optimization of BESS. * Lead and support BESS facility commissioning activities. * Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities on field BESS equipment. * Provide technical support to the operations team for troubleshooting BESS-related issues, both remotely and on-site. * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Business Development. * Identify opportunities to improve BESS performance, reliability, and operational processes. * Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and tools. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and manuals related to BESS systems and activities. * Maintain in-depth knowledge of BESS technologies, including battery chemistry, power electronics, control systems, and integration with power generation assets. **You should have the following skills and experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering * Strong knowledge of BESS components: batteries, inverters, energy management systems, and control software * Experience developing software for control systems, SCADA, or embedded systems * Practical experience with BESS commissioning and preventive maintenance * Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues both on-site and remotely * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software * Advanced English (mandatory) and Spanish (desirable) * Willingness to travel Learn more and apply now. **Bring your energy.
