**Job Description: Senior Accounting Analyst** =============================================== Professional with solid experience in the accounting field, with expertise in executing complex accounting reconciliation processes. Possesses in-depth knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (BR GAAP) and practical understanding of international standards (IFRS). Demonstrates autonomy, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills, operating efficiently amid high volumes of information. Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level, including use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP functions, SUMIFS, and development of automated spreadsheets for accounting analysis and control. **Technical Competencies** * Complex accounting reconciliations: analysis, cleansing, and correction of discrepancies in balance sheet and income statement accounts. * Monthly accounting close: classification, journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments. * Excel (intermediate level): pivot tables, intermediate formulas (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH), data validation, and creation of simple dashboards. * Financial statements: preparation and review of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and explanatory notes. * Accounting and management analyses: support to internal departments, performance reports, and monitoring of key indicators. * Control of balance sheet accounts: accruals, recoverable taxes, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. * Support for internal and external audits: documentation preparation, clarification of queries, and assistance during testing. * Accounting ERP systems: experience with systems such as TOTVS Consinco and Protheus (preferred). **Behavioral Competencies** * Logical reasoning and analytical mindset * Ability to work under tight deadlines * Organization and attention to detail * Strong communication skills for interaction with internal departments and auditors * Proactivity in identifying and resolving inconsistencies Academic Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences * Active registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC) (preferred)
