Process control and pursuit of continuous improvement We are seeking a professional responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, and services, and for overseeing the entire procurement process up to delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Planning:** Identify purchasing needs, analyze budgets and internal department requirements. * **Supplier Selection and Management:** Research, register, evaluate, and manage a supplier portfolio, aiming for quality, reliability, and optimal terms. * **Negotiation:** Secure best prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions to achieve lowest total cost. * **Purchase Order Processing:** Issue purchase orders (POs) in the system and formalize agreements. * **Follow-up:** Monitor delivery schedules, product/service quality, and adherence to negotiated terms. * **Control and Analysis:** Manage contracts, track performance indicators (KPIs), and pursue continuous improvement in procurement processes. **Skills and Qualifications:** * Negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. * Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes. * Analytical ability to assess proposals and performance metrics. * Results-oriented mindset, with focus on cost efficiency and sustainability.
