Corporate Manufacturing Engineering is the company function responsible for the global productivity improvement process, developing methods and tools to enhance production efficiency and productivity. It is a high-visibility function with direct contact across all global plants. The function also manages the Operational Digitalization Program; therefore, this position will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams in identifying digital solutions to support global operations.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Support global productivity improvement programs by monitoring process KPIs (productivity, OLE, labor), and conducting follow-ups with plants to align data;
* Support Nidec Global Appliance’s 2025 Manufacturing Strategies, with emphasis on productivity and labor cost optimization;
* Support development and dissemination of materials for Nidec’s 3Q6S Program – Productivity Stream;
* Support control and management of global production indicators;
* Prepare manufacturing and productivity management reports;
* Prepare presentations and participate in Nidec’s global forums;
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Currently enrolled in an Engineering program, preferably in Production, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering;
* Intermediate English (will be used routinely);
* Strong desire for professional growth;
* Strong problem-solving skills;
* Experience in data analysis.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
* Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools;
* Advanced English.
