The Tooling Department of Factory 4 oversees stamping processes and seeks professionals with experience in cutting, bending, drawing, and carbide stamping dies. We aim to expand our workforce with qualified personnel capable of delivering on our performance indicators and goals.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Key responsibilities for this position include:
* Performing corrective and preventive maintenance on stamping tools used in Light Presses and High-Speed Presses (Carbide Tools);
* Responding to machine downtime incidents to avoid setups;
* Adjusting cutting and bending devices and equipment;
* Adjusting standby tools to optimize changeover/correction time;
* Executing preventive maintenance plans;
* Implementing tool improvements to enhance and extend tool service life;
* Driving area improvements based on the 3Q6S concept.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Mandatory requirements for this position:
* Completed technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Tooling, or related fields;
* Minimum \[proven] 5 years of experience in cutting and drawing stamping dies;
* Knowledge of manual and automatic machines;
* Ability to interpret mechanical drawings;
* Availability to work on Shift 200 (1:30 PM to 10:00 PM and/or rotating shifts if required);
* Proficiency in using measuring instruments (calipers/micrometers);
* Aptitude for 3Q6S.
Desirable qualifications for this position:
* Experience in opening and closing maintenance reports and work orders;
* Knowledge of tool finishing processes;
* Understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes;
* Familiarity with autonomous maintenance;
* Knowledge of root cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys and PDCA.
