Assist in verifying patient requisition forms, checking signatures, names, physician orders, and system registration. Assist in requesting authorizations from health insurance providers via the methods established by each provider. Assist in completing forms, reports, and spreadsheets according to the assigned area of operation. Assist in handling correspondence and documents, including sending and receiving. Assist in recording prescriptions and accounts payable, as required by the department. Assist in drafting official letters and memoranda. Assist in updating files and information databases.
