**Responsibilities and Duties**
1\. Monitor machine stoppages, requisition orders, and production halts, providing necessary support to ensure delivery timelines proceed smoothly.
2\. Generate manufacturing orders for finished and semi-finished products.
3\. Send order picking slips to shipping and warehouse departments, monitoring the order picking process alongside shipping operations.
4\. Develop detailed production schedules, considering resource capacity, raw material availability, and delivery deadlines. Ensure efficient resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
5\. Monitor and control production progress against established plans. Identify deviations and implement corrective actions to ensure production goals are met on time and within budget.
6\. Collaborate with the procurement area to maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure availability to meet customer demand.
7\. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma programs, to promote a culture of operational excellence and innovation.
8\. Work closely with other departments, such as sales, procurement, quality, and engineering, to ensure efficient integration of PPCP activities with other company functions.
9\. Prepare performance reports and follow-ups, including department expenses and internal processes.
10\. Conduct periodic analyses of production performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization opportunities. Develop and implement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce waste.
11\. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to develop production plans aligned with market demand and the company's strategic objectives. This may involve analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, and setting production targets.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
Postgraduate degree in related areas.
Solid knowledge of production planning and control principles.
Analytical skills and ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
