Job Summary: The R&D Mechanical Engineer will develop mechanical solutions for electro-electronic products, technically lead projects, and ensure compliance with requirements. Key Highlights: 1. This team is responsible for product design and implementation of thermal solutions for commercial applications on a corporate basis (Brazil and overseas units). **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop mechanical solutions for electro\-electronic products, ensuring compliance with electrical safety, thermal and structural performance, manufacturability, and cost requirements; * Technically lead the development of new projects, ensuring mechanical integration with electronic boards, heat sinks, and connectors while considering usage environment and regulatory requirements; * Create validation plans and oversee functional, stress, aging, and environmental tests (IP, vibration, thermal shock, etc.); * Plan and develop packaging solutions focused on electrostatic, mechanical, and thermal protection; * Prepare robust documentation (2D, 3D, assembly and validation plans) for prototype manufacturing and mass production; * Conduct field and laboratory diagnostics, proposing structural, functional, and reliability improvements; * Collaborate synergistically with Nidec’s global R\&D teams to promote solution standardization and platform reuse. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; * Experience in CAD software modeling, such as Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar; * Advanced proficiency in Office suite and/or Google Workspace; * Intermediate-level English; * Knowledge of technical drawing reading and interpretation.
