Provide technical support to after-sales, commercial, and marketing departments The R&D team for product development supports Nidec GA's Domestic Applications business segment. This team is responsible for product design and component implementation in domestic application product projects. Throughout product development, the team seeks to maximize performance and reduce costs while ensuring reliability and safety. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Technically coordinate product development projects from engineering requirement generation through implementation, adhering to applicable standards and internally established development methodologies; * Develop project schedules for product development, considering all stages of the product development process; * Coordinate planning and execution of product certifications, including oversight of experimental validation activities; * Negotiate component manufacturing with supplier development and manufacturing teams, as well as schedule, guide, and conduct prototype assembly and testing at R&D laboratories; * Assess technical feasibility of new product opportunities based on compliance with technical standards and mechanical operating principles; * Prepare technical documentation for new products, including certifications, bills of materials, and catalogs; * Support technical discussions regarding certification of manufacturing processes and new component suppliers; * Provide support to after-sales, commercial, and marketing departments with information on technical characteristics and operation of both developing and deployed products. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in professional or academic multidisciplinary team environments; * Ability to coordinate multifunctional and multicultural technical teams (mechanical designers, refrigeration specialists, motor specialists); * Knowledge of product development methodologies and tools; * Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools (descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, regression analysis, experimental design, sample size calculation); * Advanced English proficiency (will interact with overseas R&D teams, international suppliers, and customers). **Desirable Qualifications**: * Postgraduate studies in project management, statistical tools, or product development tools; * Knowledge of components and mechanical operating principles of hermetic reciprocating compressors and refrigeration systems; * Familiarity with PLM and SAP tools. **Join us to improve people's daily lives — today and in the future** At Nidec Global Appliance, part of Nidec Corporation, the world is your workplace.
