As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting the quality assurance of our products—working closely with the team to execute tests, log and track bugs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of user experience and high-quality deliveries. **Key Responsibilities** * Participation in agile ceremonies: engage in ceremonies (daily stand-up, planning, review, retrospective), bringing the quality perspective and collaborating with Product, Development, and Design teams. * Support in requirements analysis: assist in understanding business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and ensure adequate coverage. * Creation and maintenance of test cases: document clear, concise, and traceable test cases aligned with identified requirements and scenarios. * Test execution: perform functional, exploratory, regression, and usability testing on web and mobile platforms, following test plans and team guidance. * Bug reporting and tracking: identify, log, and track defects—including reproduction steps, evidence, and suggested severity/priority—to ensure clarity for the development team. * Support in API testing: execute basic API tests using Postman/Insomnia under supervision. * Support/participation in automation: run existing automated test suites and, over time, contribute minor adjustments/scripts while learning adopted patterns and frameworks. * Monitoring of basic metrics: support tracking of indicators such as bugs per release and rework, with guidance from more experienced QAs. **Qualifications and Skills** * Education: completed or currently pursuing a degree in IT/Software Engineering/Information Systems or related fields. * Initial experience: prior experience (internship, trainee program, academic or personal projects) in Software Quality Assurance. * Profile: curiosity, organization, attention to detail, and critical thinking focused on quality. * Communication: strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively across departments and document information clearly. * Proactivity and learning mindset: willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies, actively seeking knowledge and asking for help when needed. * Teamwork: effective collaboration to foster a positive and productive environment. * Agile methodologies: foundational understanding of Scrum/Kanban and the QA role within that context. * Quality orientation: commitment to delivering high-quality outputs and focusing on user experience. **Technical Requirements** * Functional testing: familiarity with black-box testing, equivalence partitioning, and boundary value analysis (BVA). * Non-functional testing: basic understanding of performance, security, and usability testing. * Test/defect management: familiarity with Jira and tools such as Zephyr/Xray (or similar). * API testing: basic knowledge of testing with Postman/Insomnia. * Version control: familiarity with Git. * SQL: basic knowledge for simple queries. * Automation (desirable): familiarity with or interest in Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools. **Preferred Qualifications** * Academic or personal experience with test automation. * Basic understanding of CI/CD. * Basic understanding of performance and security testing. * Relevant certifications or studies (e.g., CTFL/ISTQB).
