Develops and manages managerial and technical reports **Clinical Engineering Leader** **Schedule**: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise the work team, assign tasks, and monitor the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance services; evaluate results, establish goals and deadlines, and ensure tasks are performed with quality, safety, and in accordance with defined standards and deadlines; * Supervise, monitor, and control medical-hospital equipment allocated across units within the region of operation, ensuring the availability, reliability, and safety of the technological infrastructure in compliance with current quality standards and regulatory requirements. * Ensure clinical/biomedical engineering and medical technology maintenance activities, providing technical support to the team and guaranteeing traceability of interventions, aligned with quality and patient safety guidelines. * Contribute to the quality and safety of the care environment, considering characteristics of medical technologies and building systems. * Plan and control service quality. * Develop, implement, and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans and programs, managing schedules and optimizing resources to ensure adherence to deadlines, SLAs, and technical effectiveness. * Identify needs and propose solutions to improve the performance of critical equipment, enhancing reliability through root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and investment planning. * Test and validate medical technologies, verifying functionality and comparing against previously defined requirements and technical specifications. * Monitor third-party service contracts, verify scope, deadlines, quality, and safety compliance, ensuring execution as agreed. * Guide technical specifications for materials, equipment, and services, and support analytical budgeting. * Support procurement of services and issue purchase orders/service requests/material requisitions, evaluating technical proposals to ensure acquisitions align with specifications and performance requirements. * Comply with and enforce preventive maintenance and calibration schedules; maintain up-to-date technical documentation. * Guide, supervise, and ensure organization and maintenance of technical files, projects, and layouts, as well as ensure workplace organization and preservation. * Develop, guide, and control preparation of managerial and technical reports, ensuring reliable and timely information on costs, activity status, and outcomes to support decision-making processes. * Contribute to performance indicator (KPI) management, analyze reports and results (targets vs. achievements), propose corrective actions and improvements, and reorient processes when necessary to achieve operational efficiency and care quality. * Support team qualification and performance maintenance, map competency gaps, promote training, and assist with replacements/movements where applicable, aligned with institutional policies and legal requirements. * Comply with and enforce internal regulations, health, hygiene, and occupational safety standards (NRs), compliance requirements, and applicable regulations, ensuring adherence to institutional guidelines and regulatory agencies. * Perform other duties related to the position or assigned by the immediate supervisor, provided they are compatible with the candidate’s qualifications, knowledge, and experience, contributing to operational continuity and safety. * **DESIRED EDUCATION:** High school diploma; completed technical course in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Construction, or related fields with active CFT certification; desirable: currently pursuing or holding a completed undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil Engineering, or related fields. Knowledge of CMMS/GMAO systems (Effort, Tasy), Power BI, and advanced Excel.
