




Job Summary: Professional responsible for in-person and telephone patient service, patient data registration and updates, issuance and verification of medical referral forms, scheduling, and procedural support. Scheduling and organization of consultations, examinations, and procedures **Responsibilities:** * Provide in-person and telephone patient service; * Register and update patient data in the system for general patient service; * Issue medical referral forms for health insurance plans, ensuring collection of signatures from healthcare professionals and patients; pay attention during execution to avoid incorrect information and correct pre-billing referral forms; * Verify eligibility of health insurance plans and affiliated plans with the hospital (discount cards, partner companies, SUS, court injunctions, and health consortia); request authorizations for consultations and examinations from health insurance providers and partners; * Receive, analyze, control, forward, and archive examination and consultation authorizations; * Confirm procedures with the Diagnostic Center and Surgical Center prior to patient referral to these areas; * Refer patients for pre-examinations, outpatient clinics, examinations at the Diagnostic Center, and procedures at the Surgical Center; * Perform pre-examination procedures and patient dilation, as prescribed and trained by the institution; * Receive patients at the Surgical Center and verify their documentation for the procedure; * Receive patients after surgery and organize post-surgical patient referrals upon completion of service; * Process adjustments and issue invoices for private-pay services; * Forward referral forms to the billing department and provide information regarding adjustments for private-pay procedures to the finance department; * Report and record non-conformities during shift handovers;• Assist clients with boarding and disembarking and provide support to patients with special needs during service; * • Schedule and reschedule consultations (elective and follow-up), examinations, and outpatient procedures (laser) **Requirements:** * Minimum 6 months’ experience in public-facing service activities; * Completed high school education; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (basic user level); * Public service (in-person and telephone); * Scheduling of consultations and examinations; * Authorization of medical referral forms.
