Job Summary:
Driver responsible for the safe transportation of cargo, ensuring vehicle maintenance and compliance with traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive trucks and utility vehicles for cargo transportation.
2. Ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of vehicles.
3. Perform pre-trip checklists and verify cargo securing.
* Valid Brazilian driver's license (Category D) required.
* Minimum 6 months of experience in cargo collection and delivery.
* Valid MOPP (Hazardous Materials Transportation Course) certificate mandatory.
* Drive trucks and utility vehicles to transport cargo to designated customers, adhering to the Brazilian Traffic Code and Driver's Law.
* Ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of vehicles.
* Perform pre-trip checklists before any loading.
* Verify that cargo signage plates are appropriate for the transported goods.
* Maneuver vehicles within the warehouse/depot as directed by the operational supervisor.
* Await cargo manifest release from the dispatch department.
* Verify that the cargo compartment has been sealed.
* Maintain proper documentation for both cargo and vehicle.
* Refuel vehicles at company-authorized gas stations.
* Request vehicle washing from the maintenance department upon return from trips.
* Submit trip expense reports to the fleet department.
* Inspect cargo securing prior to transportation.
* Perform tarpaulin covering, side curtain opening/closing, and loading/unloading when required.
* Report accidents/incidents to the fleet or operational department.
* Inform the operational department of any customer-related issues or delays caused by road conditions.
* Operate the SSWMobile tool.
* Perform related tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor.
Employment Type: Full-time CLT
Salary: R$2.680,00 per month
