JOIN US AND BE THE SUPREMO STANDARD! **Responsibilities and Duties** Our Environmental Analyst will be responsible for conducting environmental inspections, diagnostics, reporting, and monitoring to ensure the company complies with applicable legislation, as well as engaging in social interaction with the local community. * Execute monthly the indicators defined in the Environmental Performance Index (IDA); * Monitor implementation of the environmental monitoring plan, ensuring scheduling, receipt, and critical analysis of monitoring reports, including atmospheric emissions, air quality, noise, effluents, water, and fauna; * Manage solid waste generated at the factory and concrete units, implementing control over industrial solid waste and closing the monthly waste destination balance; * Draft, submit for coordination approval, and formally file response reports addressing environmental licensing conditions with the competent environmental authority; * Analyze and monitor compliance with relevant legal requirements using an internal system; * Conduct periodic inspections at the factory and concrete units, verifying control and operation of equipment and machinery, assessing performance of environmental control systems, liaising with other departments to request necessary maintenance or adjustments, aiming for optimal operation of environmental control equipment; * Monitor routine operations at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETE), reviewing collected data and analyzing it to determine whether intervention by relevant departments is required; * Promote dialogue, integration, and training on environmental topics internally and with the local community when necessary; * Plan, participate (as needed), and publicize quarterly meetings of the Environmental Monitoring Committee, in compliance with SECIL’s requirements; * Prepare relevant topics and participate in Routine Management Meetings (GDRs) and Environmental Committees’ meetings; * Maintain historical environmental data archives for the manufacturing unit under their responsibility; * Manage environmental licensing processes and liaise with environmental authorities when necessary; * Propose improvement actions based on evaluation and analysis of environmental monitoring results; * Stay updated on technological advances to propose and implement changes and improvements optimizing daily operations and reducing costs. **Requirements and Qualifications** We seek a candidate able to work on-site in Pomerode. In addition: * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences: Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields; * **Preferred**: Postgraduate qualification in environmental areas; * Knowledge of environmental standards and legislation applicable to the state of **Santa Catarina**; * Familiarity with ISO 14001:2015; * Proven experience working in industries located in the state of Santa Catarina; * Driver’s license category B and availability for regional travel. **Additional Information** We offer: * Competitive salary commensurate with the role; * Life insurance; * On-site meals; * Transportation allowance.
