We seek someone with hands-on experience in developing robust systems, who demonstrates initiative, strong communication skills, and readiness to actively contribute to the evolution of our applications and processes. If you are driven by technical challenges, enjoy collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, and have experience in agile environments, this role is for you! **Your responsibilities at Azapfy:** Develop and maintain back\-end applications using PHP and the Laravel framework, focusing on performance, scalability, and best practices. Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for integration with front\-end, mobile, and third-party systems. Manage and maintain NoSQL databases (primarily MongoDB), as well as relational databases when required. Identify, analyze, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks. Write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) with emphasis on coverage and code quality. Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to ensure codebase quality and consistency. Document technical solutions and decisions to ensure shared knowledge within the team. Support the team in adopting and disseminating development best practices such as Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, among others. Contribute to architectural improvements, refactoring, and continuous product evolution. Collaborate with the DevOps team and other departments to ensure continuous integration and efficient software delivery. **What we expect from you:** Proven experience with PHP and Laravel in real-world projects. Solid knowledge of designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB. Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Practical knowledge of version control with Git and the Git Flow workflow. Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest or similar). Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker). Practical experience using Eloquent ORM and design patterns in Laravel. Understanding of software architecture, security, and scalability. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** Experience with Laravel Queues and asynchronous jobs. Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ). Experience with application monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Sentry, New Relic, etc.). Involvement in projects with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
