We strive to become an increasingly diverse Globo—diverse in representation and thought—learning from each other and encouraging creativity and innovation. **Work Model:** Hybrid work at Globo offices (RJ, POA, SP, BH, RECIFE, or BRASÍLIA) **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your Day-to-Day Will Include:** * Designing and evolving data capture, storage, processing, and visualization systems used by product teams to generate knowledge and insights for improving offerings; * Developing data platforms focused on building scalable, high-performance software that is highly resilient and fault-tolerant; * Handling high-volume traffic and data, and performing data analysis to extract maximum business value; * Collaborating closely with software engineers and Machine Learning and Data Science specialists. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What You Need:** * Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, etc.) or related disciplines; * Experience in data modeling and transformation; * Proficiency in Python; * Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL); * Proficiency using a Unix-based operating system (Linux or Mac OS); * Strong understanding of software engineering best practices; * Intermediate English proficiency. **Bonus Skills:** * Spark and stream processing using Spark Streaming or Storm; * Messaging systems such as Kafka or ActiveMQ; * Job schedulers like Airflow; * GCP data tools; * Cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform. **Additional Information** **Why Join Globo:** Come build stories and technologies together with us.
