The team operates cross-functionally, partnering with multiple internal departments and outsourced accounting services. Key responsibilities include monthly preparation of financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet), monitoring of the corporate budget, and analyses such as break-even and runway—contributing to risk reduction and delivering clear visibility into the company’s financial health. **About the Role:** The Junior Controllership Analyst at Incognia will play a fundamental role in strengthening the company’s accounting and reporting processes. This position is ideal for those passionate about accounting, FP&A, and data analysis. The professional will participate in the accounting close, reconciliations, actual-vs-budget analyses, as well as the development and maintenance of performance dashboards, reports, automations, and system implementations. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Execute accounting entries (manual and automated) * Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts * Monitor and ensure accuracy of tax payable and recoverable amounts * Support accounting close, actual-vs-budget, and forecasting processes * Manipulate and organize data sets for reporting * Support the development, maintenance, and validation of automated dashboards * Support automation of recurring reports using BI tools, spreadsheets, or integrations * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields (currently enrolled or nearing graduation).
