BM VAGAS, in partnership with a company in the iron and steel sector, is hiring a CNC Cutting and Bending Machine Team Leader in Coronel Fabriciano\-MG Responsibilities: Prepare, adjust, and operate laser cutting and CNC bending machines according to project specifications. Interpret technical drawings and project specifications to perform precise cuts and bends. Load and position metal sheets into machines using overhead cranes. Guide assistant staff in the material loading process and machine operation for cutting and bending. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of produced parts, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Carry out minor adjustments and calibrations on machines to maintain productivity. Operate overhead cranes / gantry cranes or electric hoists for moving sheets and parts when necessary. Fill out production records and system reports. Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of equipment and the work environment. Comply with and enforce occupational safety regulations, PPE usage, and operational procedures. Requirements: High school diploma preferred. Coursework or proven experience operating CNC machines (laser cutting/bending). Knowledge in reading and interpreting mechanical technical drawings. Experience operating overhead cranes is desirable. Skills: Team leadership. CNC programming; Reading and interpretation of technical drawings. Metrology.
