Machine Safety Analyst

**Location**: Belo Horizonte \- MG **Mandatory Requirements:** * **Education**: Bachelor's degree in **Electrical or Mechanical Engineering**. * **Postgraduate Degree**: Completed specialization in **Occupational Safety Engineering**. * **Professional Registration**: Active CREA registration. * **Standards and Regulations**: Solid knowledge of **NR 12** and other applicable standards (ABNT NBR ISO 12100, NBR ISO 13849, NBR ISO 14119, etc.). * **Technical Knowledge**: Experience in **machine risk assessment, preparation of technical reports, and implementation of safety measures**. * **Tools and Software**: Familiarity with **AutoCAD** (for safety layout analysis) and familiarity with **risk assessment tools and electrical schematic diagrams**. * **Behavioral Skills**: Analytical ability, assertive communication, teamwork, and capability to conduct technical audits. **Preferred Qualifications (Desirable):** * Knowledge of **safety system integration** and implementation of **mechanical and electromechanical interlocks**. * Experience with **international standards** (ISO, EN) applicable to machine safety. * Additional certifications in **functional safety systems** (e.g., **TÜV Rheinland \- FS Engineer**). * Experience in **compliance audits** and in **machine compliance processes** for industrial facilities. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Conduct risk assessments** in accordance with NR 12 and NBR ISO 12100\. * **Travel** to other locations (Brazil and Latin America) for external project evaluations. * **Review safety projects** for machines and equipment. * **Prepare technical reports and assessments** with compliance recommendations. * **Guide and support the implementation of safety devices** (sensors, interlocks, safety PLCs). * **Provide technical support to maintenance and engineering teams** regarding safety requirements. * **Participate in internal and external audits** to ensure regulatory compliance. * **Manage machine safety**, aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. * **Train operational teams** on machine safety and correct use of protective devices. **Conditions and Benefits:** * **Willingness to travel**. * **Employment Type**: CLT (Consolidated Labor Laws). * **Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, business hours. * **Benefits**: Meal allowance.
