Job Summary: A professional responsible for ensuring the security of a location by monitoring people and vehicles, performing preventive actions, and acting overtly to protect people, facilities, and materials. Key Highlights: 1. Overt action to promote the safety of people and facilities 2. Focus on preventive actions and deterrence of harmful activities 3. Responsibility for custody of materials and preparation of reports Monitor the area to ensure site security, maintaining vigilance over the movement of people and vehicles. Carry out preventive actions to maintain post security. Conduct inspections within the post perimeter. Maintain a firm yet courteous demeanor toward customers and their employees. Provide all types of information and assistance requested by your immediate supervisor. Act overtly to promote the safety of people, facilities, and materials, deterring and preventing actions harmful to the client’s interests—whether criminal or not—while complying with legal requirements. Follow all directives and procedures established for your assigned post. Prepare daily reports for your shift/post as stipulated by the company. Assume responsibility for the custody of materials under your charge (firearms, documentation, and post equipment). Complete documents required to perform your duties (e.g., guard logbook and time card). In case of an incident, act proactively according to established procedures, safeguarding your own life and the property for which you are responsible. Other duties inherent to the position. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION: Completed or ongoing high school education. Valid security guard training course. Computer literacy. Flexible availability.
