With an extensive portfolio of accomplishments, Diefra provides operational and technological support to public and private companies across Brazil. **Join our team.** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Responsible for validation, organization, and compilation of data from laboratory tests, ensuring reliability, consistency, and traceability of generated information; * Ensure all tests are conducted in compliance with current technical standards (e.g., ABNT), guaranteeing accuracy and quality of results obtained; * Supervise sampling, storage, transportation, preparation, and testing processes of materials, ensuring sample integrity and traceability from collection through to result issuance; * Coordinate, guide, and assign tasks to laboratory technicians and assistants, ensuring correct adherence to operational procedures and good laboratory practices; * Control, monitor, and ensure calibration, periodic verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment, guaranteeing their metrological reliability; * Ensure proper preservation of testing equipment and instruments (sieves, molds, cylinders, measuring devices, etc.), guaranteeing test accuracy and repeatability; * Compile, analyze, and interpret test results, preparing clear and consistent technical reports suitable for supporting technical decision-making; * Guarantee operational team access to and correct application of technical standards, promoting procedural standardization; * Collaborate with engineers and other technical professionals in interpreting results and supporting analysis of geotechnical material behavior; * Coordinate field teams when necessary, organizing execution of sampling campaigns and in-situ testing; * Ensure laboratory and field processes meet applicable legal, regulatory, and technical requirements, including technical standards and contractual guidelines; * Promote continuous improvement of laboratory processes, encouraging team technical capacity building and adoption of good practices; * Participate in training and technical updates, staying aligned with innovations, new testing methods, and revisions to geotechnical standards. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Mining Engineering * Compaction Control – Hilf Method; * Proctor Compaction Test; * In-Situ Density Determination – Sand Cone Method; * Particle Size Distribution by Sieving and Sedimentation; * Atterberg Limits; * Determination of Real Specific Gravity of Soil Particles; * Permeability Tests under Constant and Variable Head; * Moisture Content Determination.
