The US$4.6 billion investment includes construction of a plant with an annual production capacity of 3.5 million tons of short-fiber pulp. Emphasis on NIR (Near-Infrared Spectroscopy) spectroscopy, chemometrics, spectrometer operation, and data interpretation. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assess the quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and supporting production process stability. * Conduct sampling and laboratory analyses at various production stages (wood, cooking, bleaching, drying, chemical recovery, water, and effluents). * Record results, prepare technical reports, and recommend adjustments to maintain quality and operational performance. * Participate in research, development, and continuous process and final product improvement initiatives. * Ensure compliance with technical, environmental, and safety regulations, adhering to good laboratory practices. * Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies—ensuring organization, preservation, and proper functioning. * Monitor laboratory performance indicators (timeliness, accuracy, cost) and propose improvements to enhance efficiency. * Provide technical support to operations and collaborate on optimization and innovation projects. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Completed technical course in Pulp & Paper, Chemistry, or related fields; * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related disciplines; * Safety integration training; * Knowledge of Quality Tools; * Intermediate Excel proficiency; * Proficiency in laboratory techniques and operation of equipment (spectrophotometer, viscometer, chromatography); * Applied chemistry knowledge relevant to pulp production and industrial processes; * Driver’s license category B. * Willingness to work in Inocência/MS. **Desirable Requirements:** * English and/or Spanish; * SAP, Power BI, and LIMS; * Experience in commissioning and startup of pulp and/or paper plants; * Familiarity with Brazilian Regulatory Standards NR-10, NR-12, NR-13, NR-33, and NR-35; * Data analysis and interpretation skills; * Knowledge of sustainability and ESG practices; * Leadership experience in teams or projects.
