Organizing purchases into shopping bags (separating heavy, fragile, refrigerated, etc. items). Assisting cashiers as needed. Carrying purchases to the customer's shopping cart or vehicle. Restocking shopping bags and packaging materials. Collecting shopping carts and baskets from the parking lot or store. Keeping the workplace clean and organized. Providing courteous customer service. Assisting with front-of-store department organization. Adhering to supermarket service and organization standards. Previous experience as a Packaging Operator, Packaging Assistant, Packaging Assembler, or Product Packer may indicate suitability for some of the activities in this position. High school diploma required.
