We are seeking a **Quality Specialist** for one of our projects, to work onsite at our Rio de Janeiro, RJ office. **Overall Role Purpose** Provides support on assigned projects to ensure that the project is executed in accordance with BMP and Petrobras quality requirements. Regularly interacts with representatives from various functional groups, including Project Managers and the project engineering team. **Additional Technical Information** Familiarity with ISO 9001 is desirable. English proficiency sufficient to independently read procedures and implement them. **Global-Level Details** **Summary** The Quality Specialist will be responsible for follow-up on quality schedules (Project Quality Schedule), ensuring adherence to milestones, deliverables, and mandatory requirements, as well as monitoring compliance with quality plans, KPIs, and internal and external audits. Additionally, the role requires ensuring consistent and rigorous application of Worley’s Quality Management System processes, procedures, and requirements—proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues encountered daily in projects and operations. This professional will lead, propose, and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring elimination of root causes of nonconformities and continuous process improvement. Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is expected, adopting a consultative approach, critical thinking, and strong results orientation. The role demands strict adherence to Worley’s processes, a high level of organization, autonomy, analytical capability, and effective communication—including facilitating lessons-learned forums—to support decision-making. **Qualifications** University degree in a field related to Quality, or equivalent relevant experience. Solid relevant experience. **Decision-Making** Works under minimal supervision, capable of planning and managing own workload, executing varied and complex tasks, identifying problems, and effectively recommending solutions. **Reports To** Works under general supervision and technical guidance when required, with weekly to monthly interaction. Work is not typically supervised in detail; the level of oversight varies depending on task complexity. Assignments are generally broad and issued on a monthly cycle, and work is occasionally reviewed for accuracy.
