Testing and verification of installed systems **Electromechanical Assembler II** This position is **on-site** at our **São Bernardo do Campo** unit. **Summary** Perform assembly activities for wired cabinets, installation of RF cables and waveguide systems on towers, including work at heights. Use technical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring tables to ensure accuracy and quality of assemblies. **Main Responsibilities** * Assembly Execution: Responsible for correctly assembling cabinets, RF cables, and waveguide systems, adhering to quality and safety standards. * Compliance with Standards: Ensure all activities comply with technical norms and regulations, as well as company safety policies. * Technical Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring tables to ensure accuracy in installations and assemblies. * Work at Heights: Perform tasks at heights while observing safety standards and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). * System Testing and Verification: Conduct tests and verifications on installed systems to ensure proper operation and perform corrections when necessary. * Activity Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of performed activities, including test results, assembly information, and maintenance carried out. * Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments, communicating efficiently to resolve issues and optimize processes. * Component Verification: Verify mechanical and electromechanical component sets against established material lists. * Structural Assembly: Assemble racks, drawers, consoles, and electromechanical components in accordance with assembly and integration drawings. * Wire and Cable Preparation: Cut and strip electrical wires and cables for harness assembly, ensuring measurement accuracy. * Identification and Insulation: Insert identifiers and insulators into wires and cables as specified in connection tables, ensuring system organization. * Harness Installation: Install harnesses in electroelectronic equipment, and perform crimping and soldering of terminals and connectors onto cables, ensuring secure connections. * Cable Pre-formation: Pre-form semi-rigid coaxial cables and assemble their connectors, adapting them for radiofrequency (RF) applications. * Inspection and Testing: Perform visual inspections and continuity tests to ensure accuracy in wiring and cable assembly according to assembly documentation. * Product Packaging: Package products and materials required for installations, ensuring their integrity during transportation. * Domestic and International Installation: Install equipment in various locations, both nationally and internationally. * Activity Documentation: Complete assembly reports according to established procedures, documenting all activities performed. * Other Related Activities: Carry out other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor, contributing to smooth operational execution. **Qualifications** * Completed High School education with courses in Electrical and Electronics fields * Intermediate English * Basic Office Suite proficiency * Advanced knowledge of mechanical drawing and mechanical system simulation software (ABAQUS, ANSYS) * Knowledge of mechanical part and assembly detailing, machine elements, materials for mechanical construction, and manufacturing processes * Familiarity with problem-solving techniques (Root Cause Analysis, Ishikawa) If you’re excited about working at Thales but don’t meet the requirements for this role, we encourage you to join our Talent Community! **What We Offer** Thales offers an extensive benefits program for all full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week and their eligible dependents, including: * Health and Dental Insurance * Private Pension Plan with company contribution and matching * Company-paid holidays, vacation days, and paid medical leave * Company-provided Life Insurance **Why Join Us?** Say HI and learn more about working at Thales *click here*.
