Interpret project drawings. 2\. Study, plan, cut, and join carbon steel and stainless steel metal parts using cutting and welding processes such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and metal inert gas (MIG) welding. 3\. Prepare equipment, accessories, welding and cutting consumables, and parts to be welded. 4\. Assemble parts either at the company premises or at the client’s residence or establishment, according to project requirements. 5\. Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment. 6\. Verify dimensions of cut parts. 7\. Organize and maintain a clean work environment. 8\. Store tools and machinery properly cleaned at the end of the shift. 9\. Guide assistants in their tasks. 10\. Motivate assistants. 11\. Follow project-specific work procedures. 12\. Prepare the workplace. 13\. Inspect bevel angles. 14\. Verify project specifications. 15\. Check conditions of materials to be produced. 16\. Determine materials required for project execution. 17\. Demonstrate teamwork spirit. 18\. Use personal protective equipment (PPE). 19\. Conduct external visits when necessary, for measurement or verification purposes prior to part fabrication. 20\. Attend weekly/monthly individual and/or group performance evaluation meetings. 21\. Complete and sign daily production performance summaries. 22\. Evaluate final conditions of finished parts. 23\. Comply with occupational safety regulations. 25\. Use collective protective equipment (CPE). 26\. Fabricate jigs and fixtures. 27\. Square metal parts. 28\. Interpret work orders. 29\. Repair parts. 30\. Mark out parts according to project measurements. 31 Clean and maintain common areas—including restrooms, kitchen, and locker rooms—in accordance with staff rotation schedules.
