Job Summary: Metrô BH is seeking a Building Maintenance Agent to perform building maintenance and auxiliary systems work, ensuring the infrastructure of the metro transportation system. Drive company vehicles for support and transportation **Metrô BH, one of the companies within Grupo Comporte, operates the metro public transportation system covering the municipalities of Contagem and Belo Horizonte, located in the state of Minas Gerais.** **We currently have an opportunity to hire a Building Maintenance Agent for the Buildings and Auxiliary Systems Department.** **If you meet the requirements for this opportunity, please apply and share it with your professional network.** **Our job openings are inclusive.** **\#grupocomporte \#metrobh \#opportunities** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform building maintenance services on plumbing and sanitary installations; * Perform carpentry, joinery, and metalwork services; * Carry out repairs on masonry and enclosures (including boundary walls within the right-of-way); * Perform repair, cleaning, and conservation services on wall and floor coverings; * Perform maintenance, repair, cleaning, and conservation services on windows, glass, and mirrors; * Perform painting, waterproofing, cleaning, and conservation services on installations; * Fabricate reinforced concrete products (e.g., boxes, channels, covers, slabs, etc.) — including formwork, reinforcement, concreting, stripping, transport, and installation; * Operate forklifts, provided authorized and trained in accordance with applicable legislation; * Transport, assemble, and disassemble scaffolding and platforms; * Transport, assemble, and disassemble furniture and partitions; * Perform excavation, demolition, removal, and disposal of rubble and waste when necessary; * Perform drainage, unclogging, and cleaning of boxes, reservoirs, gutters, channels, and galleries; * Perform cleaning, maintenance, and repairs on roofs, slabs, and ceilings; * Support elevator and escalator maintenance and repair activities as needed; * Support maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including transporting and installing units, repairing units, and cleaning filters and other components; * Support other maintenance and operations departments as needed; * Drive company-provided vehicles for personnel and equipment support and transportation; * Open and close service orders for corrective maintenance, recording machine and equipment identification data, issues reported by operators, and listing scheduled tasks for preventive maintenance; * Assist in evaluating measurements of completed services according to company standards and requirements; * Support analysis of root causes for corrective maintenance, identifying operational and maintenance failures to minimize recurrence and unnecessary costs, in coordination with the maintenance engineering team; * Accurately complete physical and electronic forms and service orders provided by the company for controlling and managing operational routines; * Support leadership on matters related to their area of responsibility by reporting and discussing problems and irregularities to assist in defining procedures and actions to be adopted; * Stay updated on new procedures and processes relevant to their area of responsibility; * Perform other related duties at the discretion of their immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education: Completed or incomplete elementary school;** * **Desirable: Technical course in Mechanics, Electronics, Electrotechnics, or related fields;** * **Knowledge of building maintenance and auxiliary building systems;** * **Desirable: More than two years of experience in related activities;** * **Driver’s license, Category B.** **Additional Information** * **Benefits for the employee** **Medical and dental assistance reimbursement;** **Childcare allowance;** **Gympass (app for physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being);** **Life insurance;** **Meal voucher and/or food allowance;** **Transportation voucher.** * **Benefits for dependents** **Medical and dental assistance reimbursement;** **Support for children with disabilities;** **Gympass (app for physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being).** **We are one of the companies within Grupo Comporte, operating the metro public transportation system covering the municipalities of Contagem and Belo Horizonte, located in the state of Minas Gerais.** **Here, we offer merit-based opportunities and care for our employees by fostering a positive organizational climate, which translates into excellent service for our users.
