Visit our website to learn more! **What Is Your Role?** Execute painting production processes (*primer*, basic painting on non-visible parts, and touch-ups), in accordance with company-established guidelines and metrics related to quality, productivity, service, cost, and safety, health, and environment. **DETAILED DESCRIPTION** * Organize and prepare the workplace according to the activity to be performed, following process instructions and *EHS* guidelines. * Request required chemicals, raw materials, and resources, aligned with activities scheduled in the production plan. * Prepare parts for painting by performing surface cleaning, sanding, filler application, and protecting areas not intended for painting. * Mix and prepare *primer*, base coats, oils, thinners, catalysts, and/or paints to be used, ensuring compliance with established standards and technical specifications. * Apply *primer* and perform basic painting on non-visible parts, as well as general touch-ups when necessary, aiming to correct possible appearance defects in the product. * Apply sealing components and assemble parts onto rotating equipment, as well as prepare and package parts and products per process instructions, notifying leadership for shipping arrangements. * Operate overhead cranes and hoists with push-button control systems, adjusting load volume to equipment capacity to handle material movement on the production line. * Monitor and verify completed tasks, identifying and reporting deviations from production targets, equipment or instrument issues, to leadership for corrective action. * Complete daily process and quality control reports, as well as production logging, per Manufacturing department requirements. * Ensure proper use, preservation, maintenance, and optimization of company assets, and maintain workplace cleanliness and organization. * Comply with company integrity and *Compliance* guidelines, as well as *EHS* norms and procedures. **Benefits** At Wabtec, people come first.
