Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning and controlling production, ensuring product availability, managing inventory, monitoring processes, and preparing reports. Key Highlights: 1. Preparation of reports for continuous improvement and goal tracking Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering (or related field), Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or related disciplines; intermediate to advanced Excel skills; Proven experience specifically in food production planning and control (preferably in dairy industry – cheese manufacturing) Responsibilities: Plan and organize industrial production to ensure finished product availability aligned with the company’s annual budget, as well as inventory management. Plan daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly production schedules, ensuring sufficient lead time for raw material receipt and estimating optimal timelines that do not compromise manufacturing quality. Monitor the production process, verifying adherence to deadlines and satisfactory quality levels. Control raw material inventory across production units in coordination with the Procurement department, preventing production interruptions due to material shortages. Support purchase order generation and maintain system updates to avoid supplier billing issues. Issue manufacturing orders for each product and unit, balancing product availability and lead time according to each product’s perishability. Ensure product inventory remains at appropriate levels to prevent delays for end customers. Manage inventory of maturing and finished products at the distribution center (DC), aligning production speed and product availability with market demand. Prepare reports and charts for company management to identify improvement opportunities and track progress against predefined goals.
