**Job Description**
The professional will work on our client’s Railway Transportation Propulsion team, focusing on rotating electric machines. Responsibilities include mechanical design of motors, fans, and blowers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Key responsibilities and activities include:
* Leadership in propulsion projects with rotating electric machines
* Monitoring and communicating project status and activities
* Supporting scope, risk, and milestone analysis
* Performing technical analyses and calculations in accordance with design standards
* Coordinating and leading design reviews
* Supporting manufacturing, testing, and implementation teams
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (completed)
* Prior experience with mechanical components of electric motors, generators, and transformers
* Basic knowledge of rotating equipment (alternators, generators, AC/DC motors)
* Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), bolted joints, and stress analysis
* Generation of engineering documentation (DFMEA, design review materials, purchasing specifications, and others)
* Experience leading concurrent projects and meeting project milestones
* Experience conducting and leading design reviews
* Advanced English proficiency (mandatory)
