We hold projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle—from greenfield development through to full-scale operations—and employ over 2,100 professionals nationwide, all committed to our mission. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines—both part of the Baratinha Complex—and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Vale do Aço region, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet processing plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project entered operation, featuring a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the total annual capacity of the Baratinha Complex to 4.0 million tons. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in the third quarter of 2025\. The project holds resources of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade material, and its full-capacity production is expected to reach 2.0 million tons per year, using dry processing only. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Pará state, located in Água Azul do Norte near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed from the greenfield stage, this project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and employs predominantly local workers.
