Key information about this role: * Work location: Contagem – MG. * Work mode: Hybrid. * Contract type: Permanent. * Availability for occasional travel. Responsibilities: * Execution/Development of mechanical engineering projects for refractory applications at customer sites; * Provide technical support to technical assistance project leaders within your area of expertise and knowledge, participating in meetings and technical visits, and proposing solutions for improvements; * Develop or participate in technical feasibility studies for projects; * Monitor equipment testing, installation, and operation directly at customer sites; * Use CAD tools — CREO, SolidWorks, and/or AutoCAD; * Monitor production/assembly/testing of developed components to verify functionality and implement corrections/improvements; * Conduct field surveys and meetings with project requesters to gather necessary information for project feasibility; * Define scope and manage third-party projects jointly with partner suppliers. Required knowledge and skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Experience in mechanical engineering projects; * Intermediate proficiency in Office 365; * Ability to concentrate on complex engineering tasks; Preferred qualifications: * Industrial experience; * Familiarity with CREO Parametric / Windchill; * Knowledge of steelmaking / metallurgical processes; * Advanced English; * Knowledge of AI; * Spanish; * Driver’s license (Class B).
