




Job Summary: The Field Support Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing network and microcomputing equipment, as well as providing support and training to end users. Key Highlights: 1. Providing on-site customer support with travel between regions. 2. Installing and maintaining network equipment and microcomputing devices. 3. Collaborating with the IT team to resolve complex issues. The FIELD SUPPORT TECHNICIAN is responsible for delivering on-site customer service: * Installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points. * Providing on-site microcomputing and telecommunications support. * Serving multiple customers per day, with availability to travel from one region to another. * Maintenance and Repairs: Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment. * Installing and configuring devices and systems as required. * Providing training and guidance to end users to ensure optimal utilization of available network resources. * Conducting network connectivity and security testing to ensure data integrity and protection against threats. * Collaborating with the IT team to resolve complex network issues, offering specialized technical support. * Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving potential failures and traffic bottlenecks. Requirements * Basic knowledge of networks, telecommunications, routers, switches, access points, and rack assembly * Technical Knowledge: Hardware and software/microcomputing * Experience in maintenance and repair of electronic devices
