In short: a Green Blood team! **Responsibilities and Duties** As a Data Science Intern at MRV, you will actively collaborate with various business areas, seeking opportunities, transforming insights into actions, and generating competitive advantage through data and Artificial Intelligence algorithms. Through participation in projects and initiatives, you will influence our internal customers to drive positive changes and impact the business with operational efficiency gains. You will explore datasets and detect complex patterns across the entire customer journey, as well as within MRV\&CO products. You will participate in developing AI solutions and data products capable of delivering value to both external and internal customers. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in: Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Physics, or related fields with a strong quantitative focus; * Availability to work 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Must demonstrate interest in developing skills in: * Programming in Python and/or R; * Knowledge of statistics and probability concepts; * SQL query development; * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
