The Inventory Analyst is responsible for conducting inventory control and management for the company, ensuring data accuracy and product availability. This professional works analytically to identify opportunities for improving inventory processes. To perform these duties, knowledge of inventory management systems and data analysis skills are required. * Conduct periodic physical counts of products in stock, comparing results against system records. * Identify and correct discrepancies between physical inventory and system-recorded inventory. * Analyze inventory data to identify patterns and optimization opportunities. * Prepare reports summarizing counting results and analyses performed. * Propose improvements to inventory control processes aimed at reducing losses and increasing efficiency. * Participate in physical inventories and internal and external audits. * Maintain warehouse organization and ensure accurate product identification. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory data integrity. * Monitor product life cycles, identifying replenishment and disposal needs. * Participate in training and capacity-building activities related to inventory and stock management.
