Job Summary:
The professional will manage inventory, participate in pharmaceutical assistance and pharmacovigilance, and ensure medication safety.

3. Ensuring Medication Safety and Quality of Care
* Support pharmaceutical inventory management—including medications, supplies, emergency carts, and emergency kits—according to internal procedures and applicable legislation, while ensuring safety stock levels to meet the demands of healthcare units;
* Participate in the Pharmaceutical Assistance Program, promoting the rational and safe use of medications per internal procedures and applicable legislation, aiming for quality and safety in patient care, as well as monitoring and controlling costs to achieve defined targets;
* Participate in the Institution’s Pharmacovigilance Program, including recording ADRs (Adverse Drug Reactions), technical complaints, and mandatory notifications to ANVISA, with the aim of enhancing patient safety;
* Manage unit-level risks, monitoring and ensuring medication safety for patients per internal procedures, applicable legislation, and the Institution’s defined quality standards;
* Support the physical inventory count of controlled substances stored in pharmacies, emergency kits, and emergency carts, in accordance with internal procedures, applicable legislation, and scheduled monthly reporting deadlines to the Municipal Health Surveillance Secretariat;
* Provide technical support to clinical departments by training and guiding staff on relevant processes, addressing identified needs and following internal procedures, to ensure standardized service delivery and patient and institutional safety.
