Experience in Beneficiation and Management * Cedro Mineração is a company specialized in the extraction, beneficiation, and commercialization of iron ore—the raw material supporting production across numerous sectors of the national and global economy. In 2020, Cedro Mineração acquired Extrativa Mineral—the former operator of the Gama Mine—thereby becoming the new operator.* *Committed to leading-edge mining practices, in 2020 the former tailings dam at the Gama Mine was officially decommissioned by the National Mining Agency (ANM). We invested in a 100% tailings filtration process followed by dry stacking. Additionally, we promote the reuse of approximately 85% of water consumed in production, intensify environmental management, occupational health and safety, and invest in multiple social initiatives. Subsequently, in 2022, we launched a new operation in the city of Mariana.* *To date, our operations have generated over 1\.000 direct jobs, plus another 1\.500 indirect jobs—including transporters of our products and service providers focused on personal and professional development, health, and safety.
