* Ensure accurate calculation of indirect taxes, contributions, and fees, guaranteeing proper application of current legislation, ensuring the company's tax and regulatory compliance at all levels (federal, state, municipal), assessing fiscal risks and impacts; * Prepare and submit all applicable ancillary obligations on time, such as SPED Fiscal (EFD ICMS/IPI), EFD\-Contributions(PIS/COFINS), DCTF / DCTFWeb, GIA, DIME, Reinf (if there are payments to third parties subject to withholdings), CFEM Declaration and ANM forms, among others; * Evaluate and implement tax reform within the company, ensuring compliance with legislation within established deadlines; * Assist in obtaining documentation for updating or acquiring Drawback; * Support, when necessary, tax-related import processes, including DI verification, applicable taxes, customs clearance, and tax compliance; * Issue sales, dispatch, and return invoices, ensuring correct taxation; * Manage the CND process, evaluating and assisting in resolving potential issues, involving legal when necessary; * Participate in projects for improvement of tax processes, automation, and compliance; * Support internal and external audits and inspections; * Monitor changes in tax legislation and propose adjustments when necessary; * Proactively seek tax credits within the limits of the law; * Assess the feasibility and assist in obtaining potential special tax regimes, as well as manage any related aspects; * Monitor, interpret changes in tax legislation and their impact on the company, implementing changes when necessary; * Perform/review calculations and reconciliations and execute SOX controls when applicable. * Evaluate relevant legislation for potential tax benefits or impacts on the company's tax strategy, aligned with business objectives, as well as perform tax planning and actively identify opportunities for credit recovery; * Develop and train less experienced tax team members; * Monitor regulatory trends and propose strategic adjustments; * Ensure closure processes occur on schedule to meet group timelines; * Prepare group reports applicable to routine activities; **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Completed bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, or related fields; * Specialization or MBA in Taxation, Controllership, or Accounting is desirable; * Previous experience in the Tax area with solid knowledge of the entire technical and legal framework of indirect taxes; * Strong experience with all related ancillary and tax obligations; * Experience in an environment using USD as functional currency is a plus; * Experience in developing and maintaining tax processes using SAP and related internal controls according to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act and COSO framework application) is desirable;
