**Job Description**
A Veolia Operator is responsible for operating sanitary sewer systems, oily wastewater treatment systems, water treatment systems, or network systems, performing operational tasks and carrying out low-complexity preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with established procedures, ensuring work quality and compliance with safety regulations.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
* Assist in the operation of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and pumping stations, ensuring proper functionality and requesting maintenance when necessary.
* Collect water and wastewater samples for laboratory analysis and record results in designated systems.
* Prepare chemical solutions for dosing and application in treatment systems.
* Monitor wells and hydraulic barriers to ensure water production and aquifer protection.
* Read flow meters for controlling water/wastewater intake, treatment, and discharge.
* Segregate waste for proper disposal according to selective collection guidelines.
* Maintain and preserve equipment and complete control check\-lists.
* Perform auxiliary tasks in physical\-chemical and bacteriological laboratories for water and wastewater analysis.
* Carry out cleaning and organization of treatment plants, maintaining facilities in appropriate condition.
* Monitor sludge collection trucks and perform biological and physical\-chemical treatment as per the operated system.
* Report irregularities or incidents to the immediate supervisor for prompt resolution.
* Support internal and external visits and audits related to operations.
* Comply with occupational health and safety regulations and properly use PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE).
* Maintain 5S organization and practices at facilities.
* Commit to Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety Management.
* Perform other related tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
* Completed High School education;
* Valid Driver's License Class B;
* Technical qualification in Chemistry and/or related fields is a plus.
