




Job Summary: Responsible for supporting operational activities related to rock blasting, including handling of explosives, loading, and bench tying. Key Highlights: 1. Work in an environment focused on innovation and safety Responsible for supporting operational activities related to rock blasting execution. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Unload accessories and explosives at the magazine, as well as withdraw them for field use; * Supply UMBs and UMRs with required products; * Prepare pre\-cut material and perform loading and bench tying; * Isolate the area to be loaded and distribute accessories on the bench according to the immediate supervisor's instructions; * Support field operations, including signaling/isolation of the area to be loaded, loading of blast holes with UMBs/UMRs, stemming of blast holes, bench tying (pyrotechnic or electronic blasting), and bench inspection prior to blasting—verifying leftover accessories, explosives, materials, and connections of delay elements, brinel, detonating cord, and cables of the electronic initiation system; * Assist in loading detonators and insert the hose into the blast hole, reporting the start and end of pumping for each hole; * Clear blocked blast holes when necessary and assist in verifying blast hole depth; * Perform verification and stemming of loaded blast holes according to the immediate supervisor's instructions; * Inform the operator about material surplus remaining in the vehicle for possible replenishment; * Verify the quantity of surplus material used in the previous shift (accessories) for possible reuse; * Perform reading of accessories and explosives and allocate them to their respective plans; * Perform reading of returned accessories and explosives at the end of each work shift. * Assist the immediate supervisor in inspecting the completed workface; * Report to the immediate supervisor any nonconformities observed at the worksite (e.g., loose rocks, gases, pollution, etc.); * Instruct the operator to begin cleaning the hose, then coil and retrieve it; * Assist in establishing a secured perimeter, restricting equipment and personnel entry during the detonation process; * Operate light vehicles when licensed and properly trained; * Maintain and clean equipment used in the activity; * Support activities in other areas when required and under the supervision of the immediate supervisor; * Assist the Operator in minor maintenance of UMBs, compressors, diaphragm pumps, EBEs, and Nitrite Skids. **Requirements and Qualifications** Field of Study: **Related Fields** Minimum Education Level: **Completed Elementary School** Desired Education Level: **High School (in progress)** With over five decades of presence in Brazil, we are Enaex Brasil, a subsidiary of Enaex S.A.—a Chilean company with over 100 years of history and part of the Sigdo Koppers Group.
