JOURNALISM INTERNSHIP - OURO PRETO

The Radio/Digital Journalism Intern will support journalism and digital teams, contributing to all stages of the communication process—from fact-checking to content publication. This internship integrates radio, website, and social media platforms, offering hands-on experience across the full news cycle and enabling the development of technical and editorial competencies. Responsibilities include producing editorial calendars, multiplatform writing, recording and editing audio, video, and text, as well as monitoring trends, applying SEO techniques, and managing digital content. The intern will gain direct exposure to the daily operations of an integrated and dynamic newsroom, acquiring practical experience in multimedia communication and journalistic practices aligned with contemporary industry demands. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assist in information gathering and preparation of editorial calendars for radio, website, and social media; * Support production of radio programs, bulletins, and multiplatform content; * Record and edit audio for bulletins and journalistic reports, when required; * Write and publish articles for the website and posts for Itatiaia’s social media channels; * Conduct competitive analysis, monitor Google Trends and social media to identify trending topics; * Suggest editorial calendars for radio, website, and social media; * Participate in training sessions on SEO, writing, and digital communication practices; * Collaborate to ensure content quality, ethics, and compliance with the company’s editorial and legal guidelines. **REQUIRED PROFILE:** * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Journalism program (7th to 8th semester); * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Interest in working across multiple communication platforms. **REQUIRED SKILLS:** * Strong communication skills; * Organizational ability and attention to detail; * Capacity for concentration and focus; * Curiosity and proactivity; * Agility and sense of urgency; * Ability to work effectively in teams; * Willingness to learn and adapt; * Critical thinking and responsibility.
