**Job Description:**
Filling out control spreadsheets
Recording laboratory data according to internal protocols;
Continuously updating physical and digital spreadsheets.
Performing sector asepsis
Cleaning and disinfecting the laboratory environment;
Following established biosafety routines and procedures.
Labeling solutions and reagents
Correct identification with name, concentration, preparation date, and expiration date;
Using specific software (if applicable) or manual labeling.
Waste disposal
Separating and disposing of chemical and biological waste in accordance with environmental and safety regulations;
Proper handling of contaminated materials.
Plating and preparing materials for analysis
Assisting in microbiological plating under technical guidance;
Preparing materials and equipment for laboratory analyses.
Preparing solutions and culture media
Precise handling and measurement of reagents and compounds;
Appropriate sterilization and storage of culture media.
Washing, wrapping, and sterilizing glassware
Cleaning glassware using appropriate detergents;
Wrapping for autoclaving and sterilization monitoring.
**Requirements:**
Completed degree or technical qualification in Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, and/or Agronomy;
Prior experience in a microbiological testing laboratory is considered a plus;
Availability to work from Sunday to Thursday.
