Forklift Operator and Inventory Checker

Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and move materials, ensuring warehouse organization and compliance with safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Operate forklifts for vehicle loading/unloading and internal material handling 2. Ensure verification and organization of received inventory and materials 3. Focus on safety, equipment inspection, and adherence to procedures Load and/or unload vehicles using the forklift according to dock scheduling; Verify all shipments to be dispatched or received at the CDI; Verify and receive production output; Load and/or unload CHEP pallets; Release invoices; Conduct daily inventory counts; Receive and verify general materials and supplies; Clean and maintain forklifts and the battery room; Handle and store CHEP pallets and finished goods using the forklift; Record and transfer production output to inventory; Supply CHEP pallets to the packaging cell workstations; Daily inspect the forklift for operational readiness per the pre-use checklist and report any defects for maintenance; Conduct daily inventory inspections and report non-conformities; Ensure quality of loaded products and raise safety alerts during loading; Apply FIFO principles to products according to warehouse configurations (block-stacked and drive-in); Fulfill SHE-related responsibilities and requirements assigned to this role; Comply with Non-Negotiable Safety Rules; Always wear required PPE for each task, maintain its cleanliness and condition, and request replacement whenever necessary; Follow procedures and/or ARTs No.: 001, 002, 007, 010, 011, 012, and 013, and request revisions when needed; Apply security seals to vehicles upon completion of loading; Report shift incidents; Physically quarantine non-conforming materials.
