In this position, the Maintenance Technician I will perform repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities according to the preventive and corrective maintenance plan, focusing on internal areas to prevent unplanned shutdowns caused by electrical and/or mechanical maintenance failures. Responsibilities: * Identify electrical and mechanical defects in machinery and equipment, replacing worn parts or performing necessary repair work to ensure proper operation. * Install motors, machinery, and other electrical or mechanical components of equipment. * Guide users on operating conditions and procedures for electrical and mechanical equipment to optimize performance and prevent breakdowns or failures. * Perform maintenance activities in accordance with the site-wide preventive maintenance plan to avoid unplanned breakdowns and shutdowns. * Carry out corrective maintenance tasks assigned via Work Orders on machinery and equipment, production facilities, and building infrastructure, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition. * Maintain emergency systems (fire protection and lighting) in good operational condition. * Ensure the proper functioning of utility power intake cabinets as well as on-site power generation sources for industrial and administrative buildings. * Maintain appropriate electrical and lighting installations in production and administrative areas. * Keep the Maintenance area clean and organized. * Comply with occupational safety regulations, adhering to NR10 and NR12. * Ensure adequate stock levels of spare parts and lubricants. * Follow and maintain a product safety environment in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. * Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards established by Kemin Nutrisurance. Qualifications: * Technical education in Electrical Engineering or Automation. * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering. * Basic English proficiency. * Knowledge of NR10 and NR12. * Technical knowledge of electrical control systems. * Technical knowledge of electrical panel assembly. * Technical knowledge of electric motor operation. * Technical knowledge of Industrial Automation. * Technical knowledge of Industrial Hydraulics. * Technical knowledge of Industrial Pneumatics. * Technical knowledge of Maintenance Mechanics. * Knowledge and experience with the 5S methodology.
