Position: Product Development Engineer You will be the team leader responsible for product development projects, mold and tooling construction, technical data sheets and product specifications, material studies, and definition of production processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Responsibilities** * Develop new products according to commercial, creative, and technical briefings. * Knowledge of creation and revision of **3D models (CAD)**, technical drawings, and physical/virtual prototypes. * Approval of **Mold and Tooling Projects**. * Specification of **plastic, metallic, electronic, and textile materials**, according to application. * Participation in validation tests, certifications, and laboratory testing. * Preparation of **BOM (Bill of Materials)** and monitoring of **engineering costs**. * Coordination of **projects with national and international suppliers and manufacturers**. * Implementation of continuous improvements in product design, assembly, and performance. * Ensuring **complete technical documentation** (technical data sheets, product manuals and their production, and all other necessary specifications). * Negotiation and management of tooling during **mold and tooling construction**. * Support for **INMETRO / ANATEL / other homologation and certification processes**, where applicable. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Product Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Production Engineering**. Five years’ experience in the field is desirable. * Proficiency in **CAD/3D tools** (SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, AutoCAD). * Experience with **plastic injection, painting, metallization, assembly, and packaging**. * Knowledge of **rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC)**. * Knowledge of **specialized prototyping (Looks Like / Works Like)**. * Familiarity with **project management methodologies (Agile, such as Scrum and Kanban)**. * Knowledge of **industrial costs and value engineering**. * Advanced proficiency in **Excel** and other Microsoft Office 365 applications. * Experience in **manufacturing environments or working with external suppliers (Brazil and Asia)**. * Desirable: Technical English (reading and communication with suppliers in Brazil and China).
