Load and unload vehicles; prepare vehicles for loading by lining the bed; inspecting tie-downs; arranging cargo in the vehicle from product pallets located in the loading bays; and also unloading cargo from vehicles, following procedures established by IRRF. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Verify the suitability of the vehicle to be loaded or unloaded; * Notify the checker of any condition that prevents loading (e.g., poor bed condition, holes in the body, vehicle size, excessive dirt); * To prevent cargo damage and ensure cargo safety; * Clean the vehicle’s bed; if necessary, organize the cargo area by separating corner ropes and tarps from the vehicle to be loaded; * Sweep the vehicle’s cargo compartment, remove cardboard and other debris, dispose of them at the designated location, and segregate tarps and ropes in a neutral area away from the loading zone; * To facilitate proper arrangement of boxes for loading; * Report the number of tarps and ropes available on the vehicle and notify the checker; * Inspect and count the number of tarps and ropes available on the vehicle; * To ensure sufficient resources for cargo covering and securing; * Load products for transportation; * Arrange boxes onto the vehicle’s cargo bed, adhering to item usage and concentration guidelines, as well as layer height specifications indicated on boxes for each product, per operational procedures; * To prevent damage; * Secure, cover, or tarp cargo, depending on the vehicle type; * Secure the cargo compartment with ropes and cover it with tarps, according to operational procedures and vehicle characteristics; * To ensure cargo is securely covered and tied down, preventing losses and accidents; * Assist the driver and park the vehicle upon request; * Guide the driver during maneuvering; * To facilitate vehicle maneuvering and prevent accidents; * Transport pallets from loading bays—originating from transfers received from the Head Office—to the storage area (drive-in and pallet-rack zones); * Operate hydraulic pallet jacks; * To enable the forklift operator to store products in the appropriate structures; * Ensure safety by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and complying with IRRF’s adopted safety standards and procedures; * Implement IRRF’s safety policy; * To prevent accidents and occupational illnesses; * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and preservation of the work area, as well as ensure proper and safe use of equipment; * Apply Quality 5S principles; * To maintain a satisfactory work environment for employees, prevent waste, and avoid accidents. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed High School. **Technical/Specific Knowledge:** Material Handling / Warehousing / Equipment. **Additional Information** **Benefits** PPR — Annual Profit Sharing Program Free VT (van service), no payroll deduction On-site cafeteria Meal voucher Unimed health plan with co-payment Uniodonto dental plan Birthday bonus card Partnership agreements with schools and universities Monthly “Family Kit” containing company products Wellhub Being part of an extraordinary story like Raymundo da Fonte’s fills us with pride in who we are and in our consistently growing and sustainable results.
