Job Summary: Cashier responsible for scanning products, receiving payments, performing cash register closing, and maintaining cleanliness of customer shopping carts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate PDV terminal and checkout equipment 2. Perform cash register closing and receipt of funds 3. Maintain cleanliness of customer shopping carts Operate the PDV terminal and receive products sold at the establishment via the checkout equipment by presenting items to the barcode scanner, register the products, and collect purchase amounts via check, credit/debit card, or cash. Request the presence of the cashier supervisor to hand over any excess cash on hand and complete the daily cash register closing procedure. Clean customer and baby shopping carts using appropriate cleaning products and following established safety procedures.
