Key responsibilities include: * Develop and execute with excellence the tactical and operational plans to achieve Safety, Quality, and productivity goals, establishing inclusive relationships and promoting cross\-functional integration to achieve People Leadership and Strategic Projects/Processes objectives; * Manage and approve operating expense and capital projects; * Ensure effective manufacturing methods and processes and guarantee the sustainability of the plant's installed capacity; * Develop and maintain an effective organization to ensure and support manufacturing operations objectives; * Lead internal customer support and continuous improvement teams. **Skills:** **Manufacturing Processes (Safety, Equipment):** Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to operate, maintain, upgrade, and store them safely. Understanding of manufacturing safety; ability to identify job\-related risks and perform necessary activities to comply with regulatory requirements for worker, environmental, and site protection. **Manufacturing Project Planning and Management Capability:** Knowledge of tools, approaches, and practices to determine production demand and manage resources required to provide satisfactory service levels. **Lean Manufacturing / Lean:** Understanding of lean manufacturing philosophy, principles, and implementation approaches; ability to integrate and implement this philosophy into existing production and management processes. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree completed * Experience in Manufacturing Processes * Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in People or Projects (6Sigma/Other) * Upper\-intermediate English proficiency **Preferred Candidates Should Have:** * +3 years of People Leadership experience * Degree in Engineering * Postgraduate degree / MBA * Knowledge of Lean Tools (5S, TPM, OEE, BIQ, Takt Time / Cycle Time, A3, etc.) * Knowledge of Continuous Improvement processes, Release Management, Technical Change Coordination, Manufacturing Engineering, Machinery and Tools. * Knowledge/experience: 6Sigma methodology, Lean/Lean Production Systems, concepts and application of People Management, Quality, Speed and Cost, and knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. * Knowledge of Internal Logistics Processes. * Experience in Cost Management (Operating Expenses and Capital). *Note: This position requires the candidate to work on\-site five days per week.* **Interested in the challenge and want to grow your career at Caterpillar?
