Cost Analyst

In 2023, CJ expanded its facility in Brazil—the only plant in Latin America producing lysine, threonine, and tryptophan—making the country self-sufficient in the production of these key ingredients. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Execute monthly cost closing, including calculation, cost allocations, accruals, journal entries, and accounting reconciliations; * Manage industrial costing routines and margin analysis, including review of production orders and manufacturing routings; * Analyze production cost variances and support financial performance management (P&L and management reporting); * Develop, monitor, and control the annual budget, forecasts, and risk assessments; * Monitor and update cost data, correct distortions, and ensure compliance with internal policies; * Collaborate closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, and operational departments; * Support the Operations team with profitability analyses for pre- and post-sales activities; * Prepare monthly cost and inventory accruals to ensure accurate accounting treatment; * Support internal and external audits (SOX/CCP) and maintain proper accounting documentation; * Assist in inventory control and physical inventory counts; * Contribute to continuous process improvements and provide data for new product development studies. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics; * Strong expertise in Industrial Costing—proficiency in financial statement analysis and financial indicators, as well as knowledge of cost allocation and classification; * Advanced English proficiency; * Prior experience with SAP; * Advanced Excel skills. **Additional Benefits** Medical insurance; Dental insurance; Life insurance; Meal allowance; On-site cafeteria; Shuttle service; On-site parking; Pharmacy discount program; Gympass; Profit-sharing plan (PPR); Birthday bonus.
