Join us!** **Responsibilities and Job Tasks** **Requirements** **Qualifications** * Education: Technology or Engineering in Electrical field or related areas (electronics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, automation); * Experience applying OBD strategies for Brazilian applications, OBDBr-3 PROCONVE L8 and subsequent; * Experience in vehicle homologation for Emissions and OBD; * Experience with Brazilian vehicle emissions and OBD regulations; * Experience with development tools (ETAS, Vector, etc...); * Advanced English; * Responsibility; * Critical thinking; * Good communication skills; * Logical numerical reasoning; * Reading and interpretation of basic measurement equipment; **Activities** * Develop embedded electronic control systems for vehicle applications under CLIENT responsibility, either for local or international clients/manufacturers, including defining and capturing client requirements for transfer to other project teams, evaluating applicable standards and regulations, developing and defining optimal software and hardware, and ensuring robustness and validation of the proposed system, aiming to produce flawless systems compliant with applicable legislation and developed according to the organization's established development methodology and best practices; * OBD Development for Engine Calibration on dynamometer and vehicle (base cal, cold starts, drivability, emissions, etc.); * Planning of OBD calibration development activities; * Support release-related activities; * Support Test Trips for ongoing projects; * Support teams in updating Calibration Guidelines; * Comply with regulations regarding vehicle pollutant emissions (OBDBr-3 PROCONVE L8 and subsequent); * Support the Client in vehicle homologation for emissions and OBD; * Maintain good relationships with teams involved in development, sharing information and experiences from similar projects; * Actively participate in all technical discussions/meetings with clients and commercial teams for projects under responsibility, capturing directions and decisions in respective documentation and reporting critical items to management/supervision; * Generate and update all calibration and validation documentation for projects under responsibility; * Contribute to maintaining the integrity and organization of CLIENT’s information and databases, respecting information categorization and handling procedures; * Contribute to conducting and maintaining activities with necessary ethics; * Comply with CLIENT’s policies and procedures; * Strictly follow corporate procedures and best practices in all activities related to projects under responsibility; generate, release, and update documentation according to project schedule definitions; * Follow design standards, guidelines, and best practices; * Support initiatives for warranty improvement, cost reduction, and Quality; **Job Information** * Workload: 8 hours/day (typically administrative hours, from 08:00 to 17:00); * Service location: Piracicaba, SP;
